**Qualifications**:
**Education/Experience**:

- Degree or diploma in business administration, commerce or other related field with specialization in human resources
- Minimum three years' experience in human resources, preferably in a large and complex human resources environment, including demonstrated recruitment and workforce planning experience

**Skills/Abilities**:

- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations to a variety of audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, managers, applicants, external contacts, and community partners
- Ability to work independently, interdependently, and participate in internal & external committees and/or working groups
- Strong project/time management, analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to address, adapt, and deliver on diverse and competing priorities
- Ability to use independent judgment and maintain confidentiality of records, actions, and information
- Familiarity with Ontario Employment Standards, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Human Rights Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act

**Assets**:

- HR designation an asset (i.e. CHRP, CHRL)
- Knowledge of and experience with the navigation of immigration pathways an asset
- Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) license is an asset

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**:

- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
- Will be required to travel to various work locations from time to time and provide own transportation
- May be required to attend events outside regular working hours
- May be required to travel out of town from time to time
