Join a team that values safety, expertise, punctuality and teamwork **Why Join Us?** - Modern equipment and tools to make your job easier. - Competitive salary based on experience and skills. - Monday to Friday - Benefits Program (health, dental, vision - at 90 days) - Exceptional "safety-first" mindset and practices, including WSIB coverage - Growth opportunities - Employee appreciation initiatives - Vacation Pay **Responsibilities**: - Safely climb trees using industry standard techniques. - Perform tree removals with precision and attention to safety. - Pruning and thinning the canopy of trees from various heights using industry and company standards. - Installation of cables and bracing. - Properly operate and general maintenance of equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, stumpers, ropes, and hand tools. - Diagnose tree health issues and recommend appropriate solutions. - Interacts with customers to ensure the job is completed to their satisfaction. - Play an active role in maintaining a positive work environment. **Qualifications**: - Valid Ontario “G” License with clean abstract. (D License is an asset). - Proven experience as a tree climber in the arboriculture industry. - Certified Arborist or relevant qualification preferred. - Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions. - Proficiency with ropes, rigging techniques, and climbing equipment. - Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail. - Experience hauling and backing a trailer. - Works well with clients to ensure customer satisfaction. - Communicate effectively with team members and management. - Team based work ethic with a positive attitude. - First Aid Send your resume and a short letter telling us about your experience and what drives your passion for trees and teamwork Don’t wait - join our team and help us care for trees, one branch at a time **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Vision care Flexible language requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday - No weekends Ability to commute/relocate: - Erin, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred) **Experience**: - Tree Climbing: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: - Class G Licence (required) Work Location: In person
