FEIA (Fort Erie International Academy) has been in operation for four years and we are excited to be continuing our growth. We are looking for a person that is responsible, organized, and eager to be an integral part of our school community.

**$17 an hour to start - Full-time, Permanent**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Wash and disinfect all washroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, hand dryers and fixtures.
- Clean all mirrors, and replenish toilet tissue and soap as needed. Empty all waste baskets and garbage cans. Place garbage in the outside storage bin.
- Wash all finger marks from walls, doors, hardware and glass.
- Clean kitchen sinks and counters.
- Report damages and acts of vandalism.
- Spot clean walls and toilet partitions.
- General maintenance functions.
- Maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment, materials and supplies in a safe and orderly manner. Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies. Restock materials and supplies. Make note of the need for equipment repairs.
- Must be flexible wit shifts and possible occasional weekends if needed.
- Perform other related duties as required.

- Organized and able to prioritize tasks to arrange for completion in order of importance
- Ability to work in a team environment, and is detail oriented
- Flexible and accommodating to the needs of students and other staff members

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Operate medium machinery and tools as needed with ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge with WHMIS and Ontario Health and Safety Act.
- Maintenance skills would be an added value; such as, painting, ground work, basic electrical, minor plumbing, painting and pool testing.

35 - 40 hours per week.

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fort Erie, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 2 years (required)
- janitorial: 2 years (required)
