Whitby, Canada Quality Suites Full time

We are looking for an energetic person with a great attention to detail to join our Management team at the Quality Suites in Whitby. This person will be responsible for the day to day operation of the Housekeeping department at the Hotel.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the direct supervision of all Room Attendants, House Person’s, and Laundry Attendants.
- Assist and perform daily administrative duties, including but not limited, lost and found, and monitor daily work schedules and attendance.
- Monitor and assist with Training of all new housekeeping staff. Provide coaching and regular feedback in relation to job performance.
- Ensure that special projects and deep clean schedules are followed up on and completed.
- Inspecting completed rooms daily and ensuring Choice standards are met or exceeded.
- Inspect cleanliness in back of house areas, guest elevators, storage rooms and public areas.
- Reporting maintenance concerns and follow up
- Weekly inventories must be maintained in order to assess and maintain stock levels.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous Supervisory experience an asset
- Post secondary education preferred
- Previous guest service experience an asset

Knowledge of spreadsheet and work processing functions

**Salary**: From $19.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Whitby, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
