If you have a passion for customer service and thrive in a team environment, Denninger’s is the place for you **What We Offer** - Associate training focused on developing practical skills - Career advancement opportunities - 20% Staff discount across all retail locations - Immediate health, vision and dental benefits upon hire - Employee Assistance Program - Access to 24/7 virtual health care - Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP) **Job Summary**: Responsible for the movement, tracking, and weighing of incoming and outgoing. **Job Duties** - Receives, weighs and records goods from outside suppliers and internal production. - Matches purchase orders against received stock-immediately report all shortages - Directs incoming goods to appropriate departments - Assist with loading/unloading incoming and outgoing shipments. - Operates invoicing terminal, handhelds, lift truck and scales. - Prepare all retail and wholesale orders - Ensure all orders are prepared and shipping in a timely manner - Check number of pieces according to invoice and ensure it matches with the customer. - Ensure shipping & receiving rooms are clean, neat and tidy according to SSOP’s. - Empty the elevator as required. - Perform weekly stock inventory in cooler, freezer or grocery room. - Ensure that all items in the closing procedures are checked properly. - Other duties as required by management or supervisor **Requirements**: - 3 years experience in a shipping and receiving role preferred - Ability to lift up to 50lbs is required - Ability to stand and perform repetitive work for extended periods of time - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines **Working Conditions and Environment** - Meat packaging and food manufacturing plant - Physically demanding and fast paced work environment - Early morning start (6 am Monday to Friday) - Refrigerated (cold) environment - Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation We thank all applicants, however, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted. - Denninger's Limited is an equal opportunity employer and we value the importance of diversity and dignity in the workplace.
