**Job Summary**

Alto is an online platform connecting vetted caregivers with families in need of care for their loved ones. As a vetted caregiver, your role will involve providing companionship, personal care, and household assistance to seniors, individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses, and anyone requiring extra support.

Working as an independent contractor, you'll have the freedom to set your own schedule, hourly rates, and choose your clients. You can work as much or as little as you prefer, based on your availability and preferences. Additionally, Alto provides constant support, work outreach, and liability insurance coverage.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
As a caregiver, your duties may include:

- Offering companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Helping clients with household chores, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, and outings
- Reporting any changes or concerns to the client's family

**Qualifications**:
To get started as a vetted caregiver on Alto, you'll need to have the following qualifications:

- Government-issued Photo ID
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Recent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector **(no older than three months)**

While previous experience is not required, it is advantageous. We welcome students from all backgrounds and fields of study, particularly those pursuing careers in healthcare, social work, education, or psychology.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour
