Agronomy Summer Student

**Position Responsibilities**:
Working in coordination with our Ultimate Yield Agronomy Team and in conjunction with our local retail team, Agronomy Summer Students are responsible to assist in daily operations in a variety of capacities including, but not limited to:

- Customer management
- Retail administrative and operational assistance
- Crop scouting
- Tissue sampling
- Soil sampling
- Adhere to safety protocols and document where possible
- Ability to read work orders
- Overtime and irregular hours expected during in-season
- Other duties as assigned

**REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**:

- Good organizational and time management skills
- ATV/Quad operation experience is preferred
- Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal
- Farming background and/or crop scouting experience is an asset
- 1+ year of study towards diploma/bachelor degree, preferably in agriculture is an asset
- Class 5 driver's license and safe driving record
- Can lift and carry 50 lbs
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with mínimal supervision
- Must reside in or close to Rosetown SK
