**This Opportunity**

We are currently looking to fill3PermanentPart-Time (up to 29 hours a week) **Personal Support Worker (PSW)** positions in our Northeast region - **Wawa, Ontario.**

**Paid training will be provided - No certification required.**

**Valid driver's license and insured vehicle required - **for home to home travel within city limits.

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Assists clients in their own homes with non-medical activities of daily living in accordance with individual service plans and with March of Dimes Canada policies and procedures:

- Personal care
- Rising/retiring
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Range of motion exercises
- Other light housekeeping duties
- Performs duties in a professional manner, which respects the dignity and right to privacy and maintains consumer and staff health and safety.
- The Support Services Attendant will be required to work multiple shifts (i.e. days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).

**Qualifications and experience**:

- High School graduate or equivalent
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification, or the willingness to obtain within 3 months of employment.
- Experience working with people with physical disabilities, experience/knowledge/understanding of Independent Living, or Client based care.
- Physical Demands Self Analysis required upon hire.
- Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible and regularly scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
