Lincoln, Canada Rosewood Estates Winery & Meadery Full time

We are a dynamic and ever-changing operation, and while no two days will ever be the same, duties include (but is not limited to) the following core responsibilities:

- Providing exceptional customer service to guests on the farm and have a positive attitude
- Participating in event planning and execution when required
- Be familiar and comfortable with our food menu offerings and ingredients
- Bussing and polishing glassware
- Manage a waitlist, reservations, and communicate wait times to guests
- Seat guests and ensure all menus and service areas are well stocked
- Stock the tasting bar and bottle shop, maintain a clean and presentable work environment
- Educate all guests on our history, our products and our farming and beekeeping practices
- Executing POS sales
- Work onsite and offsite events when necessary
- Have the capacity to deliver dishes to guests tables

We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:

- Previous experience in hospitality, food & beverage, and retail preferred
- Ability to legally work in Canada
- Self-starter and multi-tasker with the ability to perform calmly in fast-paced environments
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Tech savvy; previous experience with Shopify POS, Touchbistro or Tock
- Ability to lift and carry 40-lbs
- Ability to stand and move for long periods of time
- Ability to adhere to safety and operational procedures
- Hold a valid Ontario driver’s license
- Smart Serve certified and **over the age of 18**:

- Must-have a soft spot for dogs and animals
- Must be able to work weekends, including long weekends and holidays

Hours of Work:

- Predominantly 11:00 am - 6:30 pm May-October
- Weekends required (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 4-5 months

Pay: $16.75-$17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 28 per week
