**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Clean and maintain all areas of the office, including restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and meeting rooms.
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, window cleaning, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly and safely.
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure consistency in cleaning standards.
- Document all cleaning that has been performed.
- Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Follow infection control protocols as established by Public Health Ontario and adhere to the established office policies.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in janitorial or cleaning services, preferably in a healthcare or dental setting.
- Strong attention to detail, high standards of cleanliness with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of basic chemical safe handling and proper cleaning techniques.
- English proficiency (oral and written) is required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated time frames.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols while working.
- WHMIS certification.
- Police background check is required before start date.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Training & Supplies: Job-specific training and necessary supplies will be provided.

Schedule: This position offers a flexible schedule, depending on tasks assigned and the time of year. Cleaning shifts will take place after office hours, in the evenings and on weekends.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
