**Duties**:
Asset Management is looking for individuals who are able to work efficiently with variable workloads, and are adaptable to changing demands and priorities. Effective interpersonal skills are essential in this position. Cleaners are expected to inspect and clean Parks Canada employee work areas, public areas, restrooms, and grounds of the respective Parks Canada locations (including litter picking, recycling, shovelling snow).

This position involves shift work, weekends, holidays, overtime, and work in adverse weather conditions. The job requires the willingness and ability to perform physical and repetitive work, safely use and handle chemicals, and provide prompt and courteous service to the clients and Parks visitors. The work requires that employees be alert, conscientious and punctual.

EDUCATION:
Graduation with a secondary school diploma or or approved alternatives or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE IN:

- Professional cleaning of commercial or institutional facilities;
- Providing quality visitor service;
- Working in a team oriented environment;
- Cleaning procedures and safe product handling (WHMIS).
