Norseman Structures is looking to add a Fiercely Reliable **Project Coordinator** to our team
Reporting to the Director, Projects, and this position is responsible for coordinating projects from start to finish under the guidance of the Project Managers. Following the project award, the **Project Coordinator** will work with the Project Manager to ensure projects are set up for success by supporting the Project Management team until it has been installed or delivered to the client site.
**Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator**
- Provides support to the Projects team in all stages of project execution opportunities.
- Determine customer requirements bases on contract, collaborating with Projects and other departments as necessary to provide the customer with the best solution to their specific needs.
- Meets projects deadlines through effective time management, establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval, assembly and distribution.
- Ensures that Norseman Structures effectively describe the capabilities, products and/or services of Norseman Structures and reflect our corporate brand and quality standards.
- Compiles required documentation for Projects submittal, including quality documents, safety documentation, schedule and budget with support from Projects, Construction, Safety and Quality.
- Seeks opportunities for improvement within current processes and procedures.
- Responds timely to customer questions and inquiries.
- Responds to document requests for Certificates of Insurance, WCB Clearance, Certificates of Incorporation, drawings, etc.(as needed)
- Supports the Project Manager to ensure all requirements are met
- Maintains project files
- Data entry into the Cost Forecast Report [CFR]
- Monitors budgets, up-dates actual costs and forecasts to completion, and prepares/communicates variances to Project Manager and Construction Manager
- Provides support to the Project Manager to prepare and submit Job Completion Packages (QA Completion Certificates, Warranty and Maintenance)
- Other duties as required.

- Post-secondary education with 1-3 years of Project Coordination experience within a construction environment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines on multiple simultaneous projects
- Experience preparing and managing construction documents
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, especially with Excel and MS project scheduling software
- Experience in project accounting software SAP B1 is an asset
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is an asset
