McCabe Tractor Sales Ltd. is a full service equipment dealership specializing in agriculture, lawn, and construction equipment.

Wages dependent upon experience level.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assemble and adjust new agricultural equipment.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
- Locate and use information from service manuals, online or in print.
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand or power tools.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications.
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
- Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.
- Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle, trailer, inventory, tools and equipment.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- Additional duties as required.

**Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge**:

- 2+ years of experience performing service repairs.
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Agricultural Equipment Technician certification preferred, equivalent experience will be considered.
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural equipment.
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
- Ability to use basic computer functions and the MS-Office Suite of products.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly.
- Valid driver’s license, with clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Ability to work alone or as a member of a team with other trades persons.
- Own tools to perform the duties required and safety boots.
- Capability of working outside in all types of weather for on-site customer service and inside a shop.
- A strong work ethic, reliability and dependability are key requirements for this position.

Working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Overtime hours may be required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Mechanic: 1 year (required)
