Network Support Lead

BOMImed Inc., a Winnipeg based, medical device manufacturer and distributor, is looking for a highly motivated Network Support Lead. This individual will travel to hospitals, clinics and other sites across Canada to complete installs and updates to monitoring systems.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Design and implement network infrastructure
- Work closely with and assist Patient Monitoring Project Manager
- Perform unscheduled equipment repair and subsequent PMS procedure
- Unpack, set-up and install medical equipment sold and serviced by BOMImed
- Complete, maintain, and submit in a timely fashion the appropriate documentation of all repairs, installations, etc. completed
- Order parts as needed to complete scheduled and unscheduled repairs, installations, etc
- Maintain and inventory an adequate supply of common parts needed to complete regular servicing functions
- Report equipment problems to the service manager
**Skills Required**:
- Ability to prioritize job requests and tasks
- Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Understanding and knowledge of Network Routing and Switch Configuration
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Must meet all hospital requirements for entry
**Education & Experience**
- Minimum 2-years experience working with Network infrastructure
- Experience in Healthcare Information Systems and Technologies (eg Integration Engines) an asset
- Graduate of a recognized educational institution as a Technician or Technologist in Electronics, Biomedical or equivalent experience
- Ability to work with hospital Biomedical, IT, Nursing, and other personnel to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair problems and issues that arise from BOMImed customers and suppliers
- Valid drivers license
