As the Building Custodian you are responsible for being on call 24x7.

You will report directly to the property management company.

The duties of this position will include but are not limited to:

- Answering the phone
- Showing suites to potential renters
- Provide professional customer service to tenants and prospective tenants
- Coordinating with head office regarding new leases, renewals and other admin matters
- Routine inspection of building and the property
- Dealing with emergency situations
- Manage tenant concerns and maintenance requests
- Carry out minor general maintenance tasks such as minor drywall repair and painting work, changing out furnace filters, changing light bulbs in common areas, minor turnover maintenance, etc.
- Coordinate trades for maintenance as required (plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Cleaning hallways and common areas including underground parking
- Shoveling snow
- Trim grass
- Coordinate snow removal in outdoor parking area
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required
- Past experience as a Building Custodian or a Caretaker
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Highly organized
- Able to deal with difficult situations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must have the ability to work extended hours as necessary
- Live close to the property (52 Park Ave, Lac Du Bonnet) - 30 min drive or less
- Driver’s license class 5

Work Hours
- Regular work hours - 3 x 8 hour days a week
- On call 24 x 7

Part-time hours: 24 per week
