**About The Role**

**Key Accountabilities**
- Operate and maintain CNC machines, sheet metal roll formers, mechanical brakes, and other fabrication equipment to manufacture metal components
- Fabrication of intermediate and complex parts and assemblies
- Read and interpret complex blueprints and CAD designs to ensure accurate fabrication of parts
- Perform machine setup, coil changes, and adjustments to accommodate production requirements
- Monitor machines during operations to ensure quality, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary corrections
- Collaborate with the fab shop supervisor to optimize workflows to achieve production schedules and effective management of inventory
- Ensure all fabricated products meets quality standards expected of Metalex products
- Assist with training of Level 1 Fabrication Technicians

**What You’ll Bring Along**
- **Sheet Metal Journeyman**, or **Machinist Technician Certificate**, or **5+ years of experience** operating CNC’s, brakes, roll formers or similar _**(Requirement)**_
- **Skills**: Strong understanding of fabrication processes, including metal forming, cutting, and bending. Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and CAD designs is essential
- **Mechanical Aptitude**: Hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance experience with fabrication equipment
- **Attention to Detail**: A keen eye for precision and high-quality work
- **Work Ethic**: Individual contributor who can be relied upon by their team members
- **Safety First**: Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and procedures
- **Growth mindset,** interest in learning new things, likes to be challenged

Pay: $24.00-$39.00 per hour
