- **Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to)**:_
- Conduct research and ongoing maintenance of machine learning and computer vision solutions within our organization.
- Develop and implement algorithms for unsupervised learning on large datasets of images.
- Evaluate the performance of various machine learning models and techniques.
- Collaborate with software development team to integrate machine learning models into production software.
- **Key Skill Requirements**:_
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communicator, capable of articulating complex technical concepts clearly
- Good organization and time management skills
- **Key Experience/Education**:_
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python is required
- Knowledge of C++ and/or C# an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience with the PyTorch library; knowledge of OpenCV an asset
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning techniques and neural network architecture an asset
- Experience with image processing, feature extraction and object detection an asset
- Knowledge of clustering, dimensionality reduction and other unsupervised learning techniques an asset
- Experience with handling and processing large datasets; familiarity with data augmentation techniques an asset
