**Responsibilities**

**Survey Control**:

- Initiate control of the work site from Legal Survey and maintain survey points for optimal accuracy.
- Calculate coordinates meticulously from drawings and specifications.

**Layout Expertise**:

- Proficiently lay out all vertical elements and horizontal slab edges.
- Stake heights with precision on vertical elements such as columns, walls, and cores.
- Establish clear grid lines for trades and formwork assembly.

**Technical Oversight**:

- Scrutinize structural and architectural drawings, promptly addressing any discrepancies and providing effective solutions.
- Verify and scrutinize shop drawings for elevators and steel structures.

**Installation Mastery**:

- Execute the installation of anchors, beams, and embed plates for structural steel as per detailed drawings, covering elevators, windows, and roof slabs.

**Digital Proficiency**:

- Set up CAD drawings for layout purposes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize laser-level equipment for horizontal formwork precision.

**Documentation and Quality Assurance**:

- Undertake the creation, updating, and maintenance of preliminary and as-built drawings.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on poured slabs and vertical elements, adhering to the defined plans and contractual tolerances.

**Survey Equipment Management**:

- Operate and maintain survey equipment, ensuring regular updates and optimal functionality.

**Communication and Collaboration**:

- Work closely with superintendents, project managers, and foremen to relay project requirements, timelines, and obligations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a cohesive and productive work environment.

**Adaptability and Continuous Improvement**:

- Proactively contribute to other project-related duties as needed, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.

**Education and Experiences**
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in formwork construction layout.
- Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings/blueprints (minimum 4 years).
- In-depth knowledge of surveying equipment and software, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Previous formwork carpentry experience.
- Familiarity with robotic total stations is considered an asset, and surveying experience or certification is potentially advantageous.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Strong understanding of contemporary construction practices.
- Technical expertise in recognizing proper forming techniques for concrete structures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools used in concrete construction and maintenance.
- Impeccable safety record and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Thorough understanding of the Building Code.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing both personnel and construction sites.
- Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to build and lead teams.
- Results-oriented with a track record of accomplishments in the construction industry.
- Ability to recommend, implement, and evaluate changes, providing a valuable process perspective.
- Problem-solving skills, adept at managing diverse activities, and capable of organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Motivated self-starter who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment with a desire to contribute to the Company's growth.
