We have an immediate opening for a permanent full-time **Warehouse worker**at our location in **Cambridge**. We are looking to hire enthusiastic, personable individuals to assist with performing picking and packing duties.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Accurately pick orders verifying quantities and product picked prior to packing into appropriate containers
- Utilize scan gun to process orders and move product, to maintain the integrity of the inventory
- Utilize forklift, tow motor, reach truck, hand pump cart, platform picker or other machinery to pick and move products
- Manually lift boxes up to 50 pounds
- Perform local deliveries to customers or vendors as required
- Operate company vehicle safely and comply with all traffic and safety regulations during deliveries
- Replenish inventory by putting away product, condensing product locations and performing location maintenance on products
- Assist other areas (Receiving, Shipping, Transfers) when Material Handler/Order Picking duties are complete
- Clean in the warehouse: sweeping, emptying cardboard and garbage
- Other related duties as assigned
**Qualifications and Skills**
- 1-3 years prior warehouse experience.
- Minimum 1 year of Forklift operating experience.
- Ability to operate material handing equipment. Previous forklift, tow motor, reach truck or platform picker experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work overtime as required to complete daily tasks or to assist the department with a heavy workload
- Physically agile and able to lift, carry and move large items
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Able to read and write in English
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to make decisions and meet daily deadlines working in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible to change tasks quickly when necessary
- Self-motivated to look for new tasks when work is completed
- Experience with computerized scan gun an asset
- Good interpersonal skills and commitment to customer service to maintain mutually beneficial relationships with our staff, customers and vendors
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
