Looking for someone to cover medical leave Monday - Friday mornings 7:30-12:30/1 depending on the time of year
There may be some flexibility on hours/days
Looking for a person with experience working with horses, reliable transportation and be located reasonably close to Newmarket Ontario
We’re a 26 stall boarding facility with nice horses and boarders
The job involves looking after 1/2 the barn. Some heavier lifting is involved. Pay discussed in person
Experience with this job description is necessary
- Dressing horses for turn out
- Help with turn out. You work with another person
- Muck, dump water buckets and set up 13 stalls
- Sweep up, usual barn chores. Keeping the barn tidy
- Winter add ons include feeding hay and water in all paddocks
- Help with hay delivery working with another person
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
**Experience**:
- Horse: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
