**Our expectations**:
The PI Analyst is responsible for setting up new stock and special-order items within the Product Content Management (PCM) system. This includes ensuring that all facets of data synchronization are completed, both data in the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) as well as Marketing related data. The analyst will coordinate work with third parties including vendors both domestic and international and will also be responsible for coordinating and tracking the facilitation and implementation of business processes involving product data collection that impacts Merchandising, internal departments and vendors. The analyst will coordinate the identification and collection of product data that relates to product information collection and its use within Lowe’s.
In addition, this role may have responsibility to coordinate and track the facilitation and implementation of training and communication processes and documents that impact Merchandising, internal departments, teams and vendors. This may include ensuring all downstream users receive accurate process explanations and managing multiple deadlines

**Your role**:

- Serve as primary support and liaison for Merchandising, vendors and other third parties around all aspects of the items set-up process (including GDSN data collection, marketing data collection process and the PCM system)
- Maintain constant vendor contact to ensure that item set-up deadlines are met
- Review and release product data while ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Work closely with Merchandising management, this may include contributing product related updates at the weekly management meetings and product line reviews.
- Collaborate with marketing, merchandising and the online teams to keep abreast of deadlines and updates; partner with vendors to collect data within defined timeframes.
- Maintain documentation for internal and external customers
- Follow procedural guidelines for the Lowes system, the MDS and the marketing data collection process.
- Analyze production related reporting and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Trouble shoot and resolve vendor issues as it relates to the item set up and data collection process.

**The qualifications we are looking for**:

- College diploma (Information Technology, Business Management or Marketing)
- 2+ years of vendor management experience, with a solid understanding of promotions, marketing & merchandising in a retail environment.
- 3+ years of total professional experience
- Excellent analytical skills: ability to glean insights from data and define appropriate next steps
- A creative and motivated problem solver.
- Ability to work across all levels and all areas of the company.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Relationship building skills
- Excellent time management/organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and Access
