Maintenance Worker

**Employee **MUST** have own car. Mileage between job sites **WILL** be compensated**

Landmark Building Maintenance is seeking a full-time employee with at least 1-year experience in the custodian/ janitorial industry. This is a heavy duty janitorial job which requires person to be able to mop, vacuum and take out trash.

We are currently seeking a cleaner that can work in Vancouver near the PNE area from 5 PM to 9 PM Monday to Friday and shift available on weekends.

Your own vehicle IS required. There are two sites in Ladner close by and 1 site in Richmond. Gas required for travel between sites will be compensated.

**The list of duties includes but is not limited to**:

- Both heavy and light-duty cleaning
- Outdoor maintenance: pressure washing, snow removal on side walks, leaf blowing, watering plants, picking up litter, helping with spill, changing light bulbs.
- Cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the building including walls, doors, and ceilings
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and scrubbing floors
- Removing and disposing of garbage and recyclables
- Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms
- Dusting of desks, tables, blinds, and computers

**Required**:

- **Experience with machines such as snow blower and pressure washer**:

- Strong work ethic
- Honest, reliable, and punctual
- Minimum 5-year maintenance experience
- Good team player
- Experience with WHMIS is an asset
- Good speaking and understanding of English

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
