**Job Summary**

We are currently hiring **four (4) Cleaners** to join our janitorial team in **Sudbury, ON**. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facility areas, including **floor care tasks such as strip and wax**, in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.

**Responsibilities**
- Broom sweep with pick-up bag and push mop to remove litter and debris from all floor areas throughout the facility.
- Dust and wash counters, fronts, walls, doors, furniture, telephones, and water coolers; spot mop floors.
- Thoroughly wash and disinfect all washroom walls and fixtures including urinals, toilets, sinks, mirrors, dispensers, waste receptacles, stall partitions, closets, and counters.
- Remove all litter and debris and vacuum all carpeted areas.
- Dust and clean elevator walls and controls, and vacuum and wash elevator tracks.
- Push mop / pick up bag and broom floors and refuse, including lounges, entrance ways, stairways, and cafeteria areas.
- Perform **strip and wax floor maintenance** as required.
- Work in a safe manner in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Respond promptly and effectively to unexpected or immediate cleaning needs.
- Comply with Employee Handbook, uniform, and grooming standards at all times.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor and/or manager.

**Requirements**:

- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred; training available.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Experience with floor stripping and waxing an asset.
- Physically able to handle cleaning tasks (lifting, bending, standing for long periods).
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends if required.
- **Valid driver’s license an asset** (vehicle preferred but not mandatory).
- Basic communication skills (ability to report issues and follow safety protocols)
- Willingness to comply with company policies, uniform, and grooming standards
