Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Education Consultant to join our team at ICSIC (Information Centre for Study and Immigration in Canada). As an Education Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and assisting students and their families through the complex landscape of educational options, helping them make informed decisions for their academic and career growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct one-on-one consultations with students and their families to understand their educational goals, interests, and aspirations.
- Provide personalized guidance on educational pathways, course selection, and career prospects based on individual strengths and preferences.
- Stay updated on international education trends, admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, and visa regulations to offer accurate information to clients.
- Collaborate with educational institutions worldwide to establish and maintain strong relationships, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for clients.
- Host informational workshops, webinars, and seminars to educate clients about various study destinations, institutions, and programs.
- Keep detailed records of client interactions and progress, maintaining a comprehensive and organized database.
- Stay attuned to clients' feedback and continually strive to improve and enhance the quality of education consulting services.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in education consulting, student advising, or related roles.
- Excellent knowledge of global education systems, admission processes, and study destinations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for preparing materials and presenting information effectively.
- Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple student cases simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using technology for virtual consultations, presentations, and maintaining client records.
- Empathetic and patient approach to understand and address the unique needs of each client.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-driven environment.
- A passion for helping individuals achieve their educational and career aspirations.

Pay: From $36,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Commission pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Markham, ON L3R 3P9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
