Delivery Driver

KADEX Aero Supply is a leader within aircraft parts distribution in Canada. We are currently looking to hire a **Courier/Driver** to join our Logistics & Warehouse team in **Peterborough**, ON**. It is a **Casual** role, as per the following details:
**Route**:_Casual_ - Dates and Times will vary. Days of the Week will vary. Customers within GTA and surrounding area.
**Time**:_Vary_ - 1 to 2 days per week needed.Some days may be longer than others. As much notice in advance for weekly schedule will be provided. Flexibility is ideal.
**Shift**:_Will vary, but always during a Monday to Friday during normal business hours. _

**Job summary**:
Reporting to the Operations Manager & Warehouse Manager, the Courier/Delivery Driver is responsible for the delivery of aviation parts & supplies from our distribution warehouse to customers throughout Southern Ontario.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the delivery of aviation parts & supplies
- Ensure all items are received same day in great condition
- Unload supplies upon arrival at the customer facility
- Communicate with Peterborough Head Office and Customers to ensure satisfactory delivery
- Responsible for the safety and security of the vehicle at all times
- Maintain safety standards for products and driving

**Must have**:

- Valid G driver’s license with 3-year clean driving abstract - vehicle operation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds(lbs.)
- Able to demonstrate a positive approach and a friendly attitude combined with focus for quality
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Punctual and reliable

**Nice to have**:

- Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate
- Excellent communications skills
- The ability to adapt to changing schedules if required
- Interest in aviation or airplanes would be considered an asset
- Friendly - Willing to chat with customers and always ensure they are satisfied with our service and products.
- Team Player - Willing to help and assist customer and colleagues when required
- Passion for Quality and Continuous Improvement - Someone who is detailed oriented, adaptable and find ways to make things better / more efficient
- Patient - City driving can be stressful. We are casual in our schedule (no set time limits for a day), and we would prefer someone to have patience and be safe while driving
- Professional - The driver is a face of the company. Professional image is important, which can include dress, language selection and conversation proficiency
