As a Maintenance Worker, you will be helping to ensure the entire operation is in good working order and providing a friendly positive experience for all our guests.

**What will I be doing?**

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Perform chemical tests for the hot tubs.
- Basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- Monitor Boiler Systems
- Wall vinyl and drywall repair
- Painting and staining
- Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing door locks and appliances
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
- Install appliances and equipment.
- Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation).
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm).
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.
- Report to Maintenance Manager any issues that need additional outside assistance.
- Ensure that all Occupational Health & Safety policies and training are followed.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all departments
- Other related duties based on seasonal needs
- Must be comfortable with automated inventory and communication apps
- Use computer to help identify, troubleshoot and fix problems

**What are the skills, abilities and attitudes we are looking for?**
- Experience in light maintenance is an asset
- A valid Alberta Class 5 Drivers License and a clean Driver’s Abstract is required.
- A friendly customer-focused attitude
- Strong verbal English communication skills with emphasis on problem-solving.
- Must be a team player and willing to learn new skills and procedures
- Attention to detail.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Must have a valid work permit for Canada to be considered.
- A criminal record check will be required
- Ambassador of the destination for both guests and employees

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
