We are pleased to announce that we have a full-time, permanent opportunity available for an AM VAS Lead in our Surrey, BC location.

**_
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm_**.

**A Day in the Life**

The VAS lead provides support to the Operations Supervisor and oversees the activities of the VAS team members. The Lead supports the supervisor to drive solutions to support growth goals, process and quality improvements. With a focus on results, will support and drive progress ensuring timely processing of orders and commitments by the VAS team, while collaborating closely with the supervisor and all functional areas of the organization to drive process improvement and innovation within NRI.

- Proficiency in MS Office Applications.

- Able to gain the trust of their team and co-workers.

The Must Haves:

- 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience preferred in continuous improvements to drive customer fulfillment, quality, efficiency and safety.

**Things You Will be Doing**
- ** Value Added Service (VAS)**
- Ensures that all VAS requirements meet or exceed client and customer expectations and are within the service level agreement.
- In collaboration with the Supervisor, plans and handles VAS labor requirements.
- Communicates with the CSC team regarding any escalations, anomalies or orders that require specific focus.
- **
Leadership**
- In collaboration with the Supervisor, communicates expectations to team members and monitors the daily performance of their area.
- Ensures there is training, cross-training and development of team members.
- Ensures safe operations of the business specific to their area of accountability, while being vocal about safety concerns in other areas.
- Focuses on process improvement that will drive efficiency, quality, safety and reduction of waste.
- Performs other duties as requested.
