**About the Opportunity**

Progrus is looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to support a mining project near Princeton, BC. We’re seeking a safety-minded professional who brings proven heavy equipment skills, a strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude. If you're highly reliable, value quality work, and can safely and efficiently operate an excavator in a fast-paced environment, we’d like to hear from you.

**Schedule**: 5 Days On / 2 Days Off (Monday to Friday)

**Location**:Copper Mountain Mine, Princeton, BC

**Start Date**: First Week of July 2025

**Duration**: Ongoing

**What You’ll Do**
- Operate excavators for trenching, digging, grading, loading, and other tasks
- Safely work around underground utilities, structures, and personnel
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Support ground crews with communication, coordination, and jobsite awareness
- Follow all company safety policies and contribute to a safe worksite

**What You Bring**
- 10+ years of proven experience operating excavators in civil or mining environments
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Own transportation
- Physically fit
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and equipment control
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and ground disturbance procedures
- Ability to take direction, communicate clearly, and work as part of a team
- Certications in WHMIS, Ground Disturbance II, Spill Response, and First Aid(preferred)

**Bonus If You Have**
- Experience working in remote or rugged terrain
- Skills operating other heavy equipment (loader, grader, packer, etc.)
- Leadership or mentorship experience (Level 4-5 or Lead Hand)
- Flexibility for future or extended project work

Pay: $30.14-$39.96 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
