**Summary**: The Telehandler Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a telescopic handler to support construction site activities. This role includes loading, unloading, moving, and placing materials as required, while ensuring compliance with all safety standards, site protocols, and company policies. The operator will also assist with general site duties when not operating the equipment, contributing to the overall productivity and organization of the construction site.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate the telehandler safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload construction materials.
- Support crews during material handling, including drywall sheets, flooring bundles, and other heavy items.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Ensure compliance with all site safety rules, traffic management plans, and company procedures.
- Assist with general labour tasks such as sweeping, cleaning, and organizing.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment use, inspections, and maintenance reports.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in operating telehandlers.
- Strong awareness of construction site safety and hazard recognition.
- Team-oriented and able to support general site duties when needed.
- Attention to detail.

**Qualifications (required)**:

- Valid telehandler operator certification/licence (CSA or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating telehandlers or in a similar construction role.
- Knowledge of Canadian construction safety standards (e.g., OH&S regulations, WHMIS)
- Ability to perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance.
