**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Screen Printer to join our team. As a Screen Printer, you will be responsible for operating screen printing equipment and printing designs on various surfaces, such as têxtiles, apparel, promotional items, and other printable materials. Your expertise in color mixing, screen setup, and attention to detail will be vital to producing high-quality printed products. This role requires precision, focus, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Setup and preparation**: Prepare screens, mix colors, and set up printing equipment according to job requirements, including screen tensioning, registration, and alignment.

**2. Design interpretation**: Review and interpret design specifications, ensuring accurate placement, registration, and color consistency.

**3. Printing operation**: Operate both automatic and manual screen printing machines to print designs onto various surfaces, adjusting settings as needed to achieve desired results.

**5. Quality control**: Inspect printed products for defects, such as misprints, smudges, or color inconsistencies, and make necessary adjustments to maintain high standards.

**6. Maintenance and troubleshooting**: Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment, including cleaning, replacing screens, and troubleshooting minor issues to minimize downtime.

**7. Inventory management**: Monitor and manage ink, screens, and other printing supplies, maintaining appropriate stock levels and informing supervisors when reordering is required.

**8. Collaboration**: Coordinate with other team members, such as designers and production staff, to ensure effective communication and smooth workflow throughout the printing process.

**9. Safety and compliance**: Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area, following established procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Screen Printer or similar role, preferably in a production or printing environment.
- Strong knowledge of screen printing techniques, including color mixing, registration, and screen setup.
- Proficient in operating manual screen printing machines and related tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent print quality.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve minor equipment issues.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
