Water Bear Tattoo is looking for a creative and skilled individual to join our collective.

Our artists are encouraged to define their own unique tattoo journey and autonomy while operating under the safe practices and protocols defined by the Saskatoon Health Region.

**Position Details**
- Chair Rental, flat rate of $750/month
- Daytime availability, up to 40hr/wk
- Flexible scheduling

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of tattoo experience in a professional tattoo studio
- Blood Borne Pathogen Certification
- Portfolio of completed tattoos, including healed photos

**Duties**
- Cultivate and maintain your own client base
- Be self motivated in advertising services and booking clients
- Consult with clients and create custom tattoo designs based on client specifications
- Tattoo in a safe, sterile, and skillful manner
- Provide aftercare and advise clients of proper healing procedures
- Maintain a clean and tidy studio by following cleaning schedule

**Skills**
- Strong artistic skills
- Proficient in various tattooing techniques and styles
- Ability to create original artwork as well as custom designs for clients
- Able to troubleshoot and keep a level head in stressful situations
- Practical knowledge of sterile tattoo procedures in accordance with regional guidelines
- Excellent communication skills and customer service experience
- High level of professionalism and artistic integrity
- Able to collect information for record keeping and store according to shop policies
