The Quality Assurance Technician ensures that the Quality System of Maricann is in compliance with the Cannabis Act, EU-GMP and GPP guidelines. - Reports to Quality Assurance Manager.

**Key Job responsibilities, but not limited**:

- Ensure product quality over all GACP and GMP stages from cultivation, processing to packaging and storage.
- Ensure cleaning and sanitation program is followed
- Conduct quality inspections in operational area
- QC sampling, -inspection and in-process controls
- Maintenance of batch documents
- Ensure production procedures are followed
- Participate in quality evaluation, assessment and investigations
- Assist QA manager with training and instruction for operations personnel
- Other duties as required by quality management

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor's Degree in a science or pharmaceutical field preferred or minimum of three years demonstrated success in a Pharmaceutical, / NHP / Medical Cannabis industry in Quality Assurance / Quality Control / Regulatory Affairs / Compliance or equivalent environment.
- Strong working knowledge of GPP requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and other Microsoft Office programs
