Gis Geologist

Fladgate Exploration is hiring a GIS Geologist. This role is based in Thunder Bay and will have a Monday-Friday schedule. Reporting to the Senior Geologist, the GIS Geologist will be mainly responsible for digitizing historic maps and will aid with the maintenance and updating of the databases.
Experience
Preferred
- Educational background in Geology
- Strong knowledge of mineral exploration workflows (Field Sampling/Mapping, Core Logging, Drafting).
- Knowledge of mineral claims management workflows.
- Knowledge of satellite image manipulation and administration.
- Strong proficiency with ArcGIS Pro and QGIS, etc.
- Strong attention to details.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with other employees and contractors using tact, courtesy, and good judgment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $325.00-$375.00 per day
