Central Prairie Cartage is a up and coming new freight carrier coming to Red Deer. Specializing in LTL Central Prairie Cartage is looking for experienced Delivery/Dock Drivers

As a **Dock & Delivery Driver **you load and unload your 5 ton body job while completing pick-ups and deliveries around the Red Deer area. Duties will include;

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely and efficiently operate a 5-ton truck to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using pallet jack
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering products with a friendly and professional attitude
- Verify the accuracy of orders before delivery and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Operating forklift on a cross dock

**Experience**:

- 2-5 commercial driving is preferred
- Experience with a pallet jack and forklift operation
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required up to 50 lbs.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively

**Salary**: From $22.50 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Commercial driving: 1 year (preferred)
- Forklift: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence, non-GDL (preferred)
