To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:
Maintenance position is responsible to demonstrate and role model the mission, vision and values of the organization. This position works collaboratively with the Maintenance supervisor to provide general maintenance services.
- Must have general knowledge and experience of drywall/painting, plumbing, carpentry, power tools, snow removal (throughout the winter season) and property cleanliness
- Maintaining all equipment, grounds and performs corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Willing to work and learn under supervision
- Conducts scheduled maintenance throughout physical plant and for all equipment.
- Maintains and tests the emergency power system to ensure availability of power.

**Qualifications**
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred
- Ability to read, speak, write and understand English and French. Follow directions and complete tasks.
- Maintains a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.
- Vulnerable Sector Check is **MANDATORY**

**Additional Requirements**:

- Must be able to push/pull move and/or lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds on feet and be able to, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
- May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
