We’re looking to hire a Warehouse Assistant **What You Will Be Doing** - Assist with wrapping, loading, and unloading of overseas containers and good - Prepare LCL shipments for shipping, load lift vans, crates, etc and maintain a supply of such crates - Load air shipments into "D" and "LDN" containers - Load air/LCL shipment onto freight trucks for export and unload incoming shipments from freight trucks - Keep warehouse clear of clutter, ensuring safety standards are maintained - Sweep floors and tidy when necessary - Ensure safe work practices are maintained by the local crew and anyone who enters the warehouse - Maintain equipment for local trucks and purchase supplies when needed; monitor floor runners and have them cleaned when required - Assist in loading and unloading trucks - Ensure customer's goods are stored safely and securely **What You Will Bring Along** - High School Diploma - Intermediate computer skills, general knowledge relating to the moving industry - Proficiently Spoken and Written English - Must have a high understanding of MS Office and related programs - Strong communication and customer service skills - Self-starter and a team player - Organized, multi-tasker and problem solver - 3-5 years moving experience required, preferably Cross Border/US **What Can We Offer You for All Your Hard Work?** - Group Benefits including extended health and dental - Paid time off - Vacation and Sick Days - Discounted Storage & Packing Materials - Tuition Reimbursement **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift
