Vacuum Truck Operator

**Job Summary**

Mainland Super-Vac is located in Chilliwack and serves the Fraser Valley with vacuuM/Flush truck services. We are seeking an experienced driver/operator (Class 1 or 3) to join our team. We offer onsite training of the truck operations and offer a wide variety of work. We are looking for a reliable, honest, hard working, detail oriented and physically fit person to join our team. Experience of operating a vacuum truck is not required but is an asset. We will train the right person.

**Responsibilities**

  • Operate a vacuum truck and perform a variety of services at sites throughout the Fraser Valley area. Some of the services that we perform on sites are catch basin cleaning, pump chambers, hydro excavation, flushing of plugged drain lines, video inspection of drain lines inspecting the condition of the drain lines and locate broken or issues with the lines.
  • Some light mechanical work maybe required at times including: greasing, changing of broken or worn parts and servicing of the trucks fluids as needed.
  • Routine maintenance checks and daily pre-trip of the trucks.
  • Collaboration with the team to provide top-notch customer service.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
  • Good physical health and ability to perform heavy lifting.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks.

- **Skills**

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
  • Basic automotive repair skills for minor vehicle maintenance.
  • Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
  • Attention to detail to ensure cargo is loaded correctly and securely.

**Qualifications**

  • Commercial driving experience
  • Valid Class 1 or 3 commercial driver's license with Air Brakes.
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Physically fit
  • Ability to work with others

Pay: $26.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
