**Job Overview**

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced live-in support worker to assist a friendly female adult living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The role involves providing personal and physical support, companionship, and assistance with day-to-day activities in a respectful and professional manner.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with mobility and transfers (use of lift equipment and wheelchair)
- Accompany client to medical appointments or recreational and business outings
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Provide support with medication administration as directed
- Maintain daily routines and assist in preserving independence
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning tasks
- Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being
- Support individuals with mobility challenges and assist them in navigating their surroundings, office work and physiotherapy activities
- Errands and Shopping, vehicle provided

**Preferred Qualifications**, **Not Required**
- Experience supporting adults with limited abilities or MS
- Confident and experienced in using mobility aids and lifts
- CPR and First Aid certification or willing to obtain
- Clear Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector Screening)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, must be fluent in English
- Comfortable working independently in a private home
- Familiarity with MS-related care and symptom management
- Previous live-in caregiver experience, not be allergic to cats
- Certificate or diploma in Health Care Aide, Disability Support, or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License and Passport
- Patience, empathy, and a professional demeanor
