**TOR-EX INC. is seeking a Equipment Operator in Toronto, ON.**

**Position Summary**:
The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation of all equipment on the job site.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to company safety policy and procedures.
- Read and understand job site documents such as job site safety rules, operating rules, workorders.
- Work with other team members to safely move material and equipment around the site.
- Operate heavy equipment to move, load and unload cargo.
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes to excavate, move, load and grade rock, gravel or other materials during construction and related activities.

**Requirements**:
Experience of at least 7 months

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.45-$37.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- heavy equipment operator: 1 year (preferred)
