**Major Duties and Responsibilities**
**Project Management**
- Assist in the preparation of estimates of probable costs of materials, labour and equipment for construction projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings and specifications.
- Prepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts at regular intervals for the duration of a project.
- Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of contracts, processing changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Manage contractor relations for major projects.
- Oversees cost monitoring and control on projects.
**Project Supervision**
- Organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.
- Submit construction project costs, administrative and project reports.
- Manage construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules.
- Discuss, negotiate, or confirm revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with Head Office, architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients.
- Ensure that adequate and required building materials and equipment are available in order to meet project goals.
- Participates in managing contractor relations for major projects.
- Inspect work performed by employees to ensure quality and conformity with plans and specifications.
