**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Address guest inquiries and special requests promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the Banquet Supervisor, Manager, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless operations and timely service.
- Supervise and train servers and support staff, providing clear guidance to maintain service excellence.
- Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring adherence to timelines and high-quality standards.
- Adhere to ProServe standards and all local alcohol service regulations, verifying legal drinking age and monitoring responsible service.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels for banquet supplies and report shortages or needs to management.
- Ensure all safety, health, and cleanliness standards are upheld during events, adhering to company policies and regulations.
- Assist in executing special events, ensuring all details are managed effectively and meet guest expectations.
- Work well as a team player and always maintain a respectful and professional attitude.
- Knowledgeable about the menu and wine list that is offered and answer questions.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in a hospitality or banquet service role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to take initiative and manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- ProServe certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand and for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
**_ Duration: This is a Full-Time seasonal position, April to October. Overtime during busy periods may be required._**
