**Position Title**:Assembly Room Lead**

**Duties/Essential Functions**
- Direct work flow (plan order of duties as per schedule & shift count requirements)
- Work with Area & table Leads in order to run efficiently and to meet product count outputs per shift.
- Cross training key employees to keep key processes running
- Train new employees on your shift according to SOPs, and position training template.
- Work and mentor current employees to achieve required outputs.
- Responsible for ensuring proper procedures are followed
- Monitor assembly line for productivity, efficiency and quality ensuring Bills of Material are followed.
- Monitor and report on team success and performance metrics, using SWOT (Strength, weakness, Opportunities, Threats) techniques to identify what’s working and what’s not, as it relates to the team performance.
- Responsible for ensuring safe practices and procedures are being followed
- Responsible for ensuring production areas are kept neat and tidy
- Liaise between production and supervisor on all issues (down time, inventory issues, change to process, personnel concerns, etc.)
- Learn and use computer programs for inventory levels and Bills of Material, Employee matters (Dayforce)

**Skills, Experience and Educational Requirements**
- Strong attention to detail, effective communicator with great interpersonal and people skills
- Experience within a production team environment (3 years min)
- Previous assembly experieince an asset
- Flexible and team orientated individual with demonstrated leadership abilities able to lead an direct employees on your shift in a positive and respectful manner.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment under pressure with ability to prioritize
- Strong computer skills, able to learn and understand entry and transfer requirements within our ERP systems
