Sunrise Wholesale Produce provides fresh, local produce to schools, restaurants, and health care facilities in Southern Ontario. We deliver an array of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as eggs, vegetable oil, and pre-cut and packaged produce.

We source our produce from the most reputable growers in the industry, ranging from wholesale commodity growers, organic growers, and local family farmers.

We started off by serving Barrie and neighboring areas, but we have expanded our business to serve the GTA due to our reliability and customer satisfaction

We are looking for a reliable food delivery van driver who will transport products in a safe and timely manner. The driver should be familiar with the Simcoe, York, and the GTA area and follow health and safety laws and road regulations. To succeed, the incumbent should be reliable, professional, and polite with a commitment to providing the best service to customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver products to various locations in Ontario
- Perform daily inspections of vehicles before delivery and report any unsafe conditions immediately to management
- Perform pre-delivery vehicle preparation by loading and reviewing orders for accuracy
- Maintain clean operational working conditions of vehicles and food-dispensing equipment
- Ensure orders are delivered on time and meet customer needs
- Provide top-tier customer service through positive and professional communication and interaction with customers
- Transport company products, assets, and equipment in a safe and appropriate handling manner
- Demonstrate a positive teamwork approach by assisting other team members in daily tasks
- Listen to customer feedback and report any discontent to the concerned manager
- Comply with Safety and Security rules and procedures, Ministry of Transportation laws, and Health and Safety regulations at all times

Qualifications:

- Must have own transportation to and from work
- Must possess a valid Ontario G-drivers license in good standing
- Demonstrate responsibility and safe driving of company vehicles and provide good references
- Must be available to work Mondays through Fridays with optional work on Saturdays
- Must be able to work early start hours between (5:00 am-2:00 pm)
- Ability to perform consistent heavy lifting (load and unload) throughout the day

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
