Landscaper - Summer Term

**The Opportunity**:
The Bruce Oake Recovery Centre, a 50-bed residential treatment facility, is seeking a dedicated Summer Term Landscaper to join our team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces while supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from addiction.
**Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To**:
- Performing landscaping tasks to ensure the beauty and functionality of outdoor areas.
- Mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting flowers, and maintaining garden beds.
- Assisting in the upkeep of outdoor equipment and facilities including some painting.
- Collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure overall cleanliness and attractiveness of the Centre's grounds.
- Other duties as assigned, may include internal building cleaning and painting
**Qualifications/Experience/Skills**:
- Prior experience in landscaping or related field preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting (Up to 50lbs), bending, and operating landscaping equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces.
**Additional Requirements**:
This position is made possible by the Manitoba Urban/Hometown Green Team Program and thus requires the following:
1. Canadian Citizenship, permanent residency, or refugee protection under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
2. Legally entitled to work in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.
