Overview:
Canada's Wonderland is seeking jolly and bright storytellers to portray the whimsical holiday character, Santa Claus. Individuals must be able to vocally improvise, stay in character for extended periods of time, and maintain the magic of the North Pole for families celebrating the season. The wage for this position starts at $25/hr.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work as part of the St. Nick’s Pics team to facilitate a smooth operation
- Maintain a high level of performance to ensure a positive guest experience including interacting with guests, having photo taken and creating magical memories for all
- Remain in character while wearing our supplied costume, accessories, and makeup and in view of guests
- Ensure all safety standards and practices are met
- Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications:

- A natural ability to listen and communicate with guests both young and old while maintain the magic that is Santa Claus
- Jolly, patient, kind-hearted and welcoming demeanor
- Ability to improvise while maintaining character
- Must be able to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time
- Dependable and enjoy working in a guest oriented and team-based environment
- Available to work flexible shifts from November 18th to December 23rd
- Abide by Canada’s Wonderland policies and procedures as set out by the park and the Entertainment Department
- Able to wear protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include mask and or face shield)

Additional Information:

- We provide full costume, all accessories and make-up to ensure a consistent guest experience
- Previous experience in this role is not necessary but is an asset
- WinterFest event runs on weekends and select weekdays from November 18th to December 23rd; shifts range in length and may start as early as 12:00pm and run as late as 10:30pm.
