MacKay’s Truck and Trailer Center Limited Truro Location

MacKay’s Truck & Trailer Center is a full-line Volvo, Isuzu and Hino truck dealership, with locations in Truro and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We also offer 24-hour roadside assistance and are a Mack / Volvo Uptime certified location.

We currently have an opening for permanent Automotive Technician / Truck and Transport Technicians / Apprentices.

Current Shift: Night Shift

4:00PM-12:00AM. (Night Shift is exempt from on “On Call”.)

This is not a flat rate shop, technicians and apprentices are paid hourly.

Duties will include diagnosing, adjusting, repairing and replacing parts and components on small, medium, and heavy duty trucks as well as routine and preventative maintenance.

1 to 5 years of experience in the Truck and Transport trade is an asset. Truck and Transport or automotive red seal certifications are considered an asset. Cummins engine training and Mack/ Volvo Master tech training is an asset. Class one driver licence is considered an asset.
