**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Support individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments through compassionate care techniques.
- Document daily activities and any changes in the client's condition for review by healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to develop individualized care plans.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, nursing home, or hospice care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with persons with disabilities is a plus.
- Skills in patient care, medication administration, meal preparation, and maintaining cleanliness are essential.
- Experience in dementia care is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and families.
- Previous experience in providing care to clients while managing behaviours is essential.
