**Engrity Group Inc.**, a COR and ISO 9001:2015 certified organization, is currently seeking experienced **Ironworkers** for various projects across Alberta, Canada.

**Position: Ironworker**

**NOC Code**: NOC 72105 - Ironworkers
**Location of Work**: Sherwood Park, Alberta
**Terms of Employment**: Contract, project-based (8 months)
**Employment Conditions**: Morning, Day, Evening, Overnight, Weekend
**Start Date**: As soon as possible
**Number of Positions**: 18
**Travel Requirements**: Travel within Edmonton required
**Language**: English

**Responsibilities**:

- Interpret blueprints and specifications to lay out and execute work.
- Unload and stack steel units for hoisting.
- Erect and install scaffolding, construction cranes, derricks, and other hoisting equipment.
- Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials.
- Direct crane operators using hand signals or radios for precise positioning.
- Position steel units, align holes, and insert temporary bolts.
- Check alignments and join steel parts using bolting or tack welding.
- Assemble and erect prefabricated metal structures.
- Select, cut, bend, and secure steel bars or wire mesh in concrete forms.
- Install ornamental and structural metalwork such as curtain walls, metal stairways, railings, and power doors.
- Unload and install pre-cast components.

**Requirements**:

- Apprenticeship (1, 2, or 3 years) or Journeyman certification.
- 2-3 years of experience interpreting structural, architectural, and engineering drawings.
- 2-3 years of experience in rigging, hoisting, lifting, and crane operation.
- 2-3 years of experience using pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic tools.
- Prior industrial construction experience.
- Physical strength, stamina, and manual dexterity.
- Strong safety-conscious attitude.
- Ability to work in remote job locations and in a team environment.

**Compensation**:

- $24.00 - $45.00 per hour based on experience.
- Shift rotation: 5 days on, 2 days off or 6 days on, 1 day off
- 10-hour workdays (flexible based on project needs).
- Compensation and benefits will align with the Collective Agreement.

**Working Conditions**:

- Primary work locations in Edmonton and Sherwood Park.
- Repetitive movement and ability to lift materials weighing up to 25kg.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adjust to continuously changing tasks.
- Capability to work extended hours, often in diverse weather conditions.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $24.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift

**Experience**:

- ironworker: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Apprenticeship (1, 2, or 3 years) or Journeyman Certificate (required)
