The Restaurant Assistant Managers and Managers must manage all employees, and ensure all guests expectations are exceeded during their visit. We are looking for Managers at both our Boardwalk and Fairway location. You would be a "hands on working Manager" 70% of the time working the line making food/ serving guests 30% of the time Manager other duties - Inventory Management - To maintain daily prep routines (including par levels) - To put away and organize Food and Beverage orders - To work various shifts, including closing the restaurant up to 2 nights a week, and as needed to cover for assistant-manager holidays and shift leaders - Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant - Prepare schedules and ensure restaurant is properly staffed - Responsible for controllable costs: Food and Labour - Measure and evaluate performance standards (KPI's) - Develop and implement plans for continuous service improvement. - Ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are followed. - To maintain cleaning routines - Other duties as required Qualifications and Skills - 2 year restaurant general management experience, although 1-2 years supervisor role in a QSR type of environment would be an asset. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral. - Strong analytical/decision-making skills. - Leadership skills - able to direct, coach, and supervise a team - Customer service skills - able to exceed guest expectations. - A positive and team-oriented attitude. - Must be able to work with mínimal supervision and have a strong initiative. - You must be able to _perform efficiently during high volume peak periods._ - Must be able to work flexible hours during, evening, weekends and holidays. - Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. - Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays. - Must be eligible to work in Canada. - Attention to detail - Has the hospitality gene - Willingness to learn *This role will require 42 to 44 hours a week* or when needed for the business - Must have food handlers certificate and First Aid (or obtain one within 30 days of hire). **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $39,000.00-$50,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Discounted or free food Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Evening shift - Every Weekend - Holidays - Monday to Friday - Morning shift - On call - Overtime - Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: - Kitchener, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Secondary School (preferred) **Experience**: - Retail management: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: One location
