**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Director of Design, the design drafter will be responsible for technical support in the design, supply, and production of architectural lighting.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)**:

- Model and design mechanical components
- Make and correct manufacturing, assembly, and installation drawings
- Assist procurement, customer service and production departments as a technical expert
- Create models and prepare photometric studies (IES)
- Work with the ERP system (integrated management software package) and create bills of material (BOM)
- Produce BIM (building information modeling) files with Revit
- Support on the production line, correction and improvement of products

**Experience (minimum experience required)**:

- DEP or DEC in industrial design, mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks
- Experience in the field of lighting (an asset)
- Knowledge of Revit and Photopia, Keyshot and Adobe Suite software (an asset)
- French / English bilingualism (an asset)

**Preferred Experience (i.e. industry experience)**:

- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and processes, among others, extrusions and die casting, sheet metal, glass and plastic
- Good team spirit, great sense of organization and autonomy
- Proactive and resourceful
